Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX Boss, known for his bold innovations, has an ambitious plan for Tesla to make 10 Optimus robots army by 2025.

Musk’s Tesla Company is developing the Optimus humanoid robot, with plans to produce thousands, even up to 10,000 by the end of year 2025. These robots are made for various tasks, including factory work and potentially for sale to consumers. Musk envisions an “army” of Optimus robots.

Musk revealed that Optimus could now “do anything.” He highlighted its potential to handle everyday tasks like walking dogs, babysitting, mowing lawns and even serving food and drinks. The latest version of Optimus boasts enhanced features like walking speed and improved hand movements to perform better tasks.

The projected price range could be of $20,000 to $30,000, Musk believes that Optimus will become a household companion for millions of people, potentially revolutionizing practical life.

Tesla’s humanoid robotics began with to make public of its Optimus robot in 2022. During a January earnings call this year, Elon Musk again emphasized the project’s potential, suggesting it could generate revenues exceeding $10 trillion.

But, since the Optimus debut, Chinese companies have garnered significant attention for their advancements in humanoid robot technology. Notably, Unitree showcased a choreographed dance performance by a dozen human-like robots.
